Rock crystal

How cold it was! But it also produced beautiful pictures, with the ice crystals on the windows. It inspired me to get started with a stone that you don't often find in my collection: rock crystal.

This ancient crystal was already used in Roman times and advertised as 'petrified ice'. The Greeks believed that rock crystal was 'ice shaped by the gods'. Rock crystal is a type of quartz and is found in Switzerland and Austria, among other places.

Although I don't work with it much, as I said, I am completely happy with the result. What do you think? Is ice crystal only for ice princesses or is it a nice addition to the collection?
