A sterling silver necklace with a lapis lazuli pendant. The icicle is nicely polished. The bead above, also made of lapis lazuli, is facet cut, which gives a nice contrast. A fine detail between the icicle and the bead: a vintage look bead in sterling silver.

Sterling silver jewelry oxidizes through the air (turns black). You can polish this again with a silver polishing cloth. Slow down this oxidation process by storing your jewelry in a plastic zipper bag.
Sterling silver can withstand pure water, but to maintain the beautiful shine I advise you to be careful with chlorine and sea water.
Gold plated sterling silver jewelry
This is a layer of gold on real silver. The plating is a thick layer of at least 18 carat gold. There is a protective coating over it.
