Shine with these beautiful earrings in sterling silver or gold-plated sterling silver (gold plated). These long earrings have drops of smoky quartz gemstone. Smoky quartz is a beautiful smoky brown gemstone. The smoky quartz is facet cut, which makes this semi-transparent stone stand out even more: the light falls through it beautifully.
The smoky quartz drops are wrapped with sterling silver wire or gold filled wire. This consists of jeweller's quality brass or copper with a high-quality layer of gold that hardly discolours. The alternative to precious gold jewellery.

Sterling silver jewelry oxidizes through the air (turns black). You can polish this again with a silver polishing cloth. Slow down this oxidation process by storing your jewelry in a plastic zipper bag.
Sterling silver can withstand pure water, but to maintain the beautiful shine I advise you to be careful with chlorine and sea water.
Gold plated sterling silver jewelry
This is a layer of gold on real silver. The plating is a thick layer of at least 18 carat gold. There is a protective coating over it.
