Why do I make jewelry?

Good question ?. I make jewelry because I love being creative and beautiful things that make you shine.

As a child I always made Christmas cards for my parents, took my high school exams in drawing and art history and was interested in beautiful things such as jewelry.

I thought I could lose myself as a teacher at a primary school, but that turned out not to be the case. Drawing and crafting with children is really something else. I always had to restrain myself from taking over the entire job from the child…

So when I was walking on a market during Queen's Day and saw someone selling beautiful orange earrings I thought… 'I want that too!'

So that's how Jewels with Flair was born. At the time I was still working 4 days in education. So I spent 1 day a week tinkering with my web shop. However, my ICT talent turned out to be not really well developed, so I quickly outsourced that. After that I could focus on the real thing: designing jewelry?.
